Six things to know before you go

Bring a trade binder
Even if you’re mostly buying — having cards to swap opens doors and conversations no cash transaction will.
Check prices before trading
Open BlackBay or eBay UK on your phone before agreeing. The 5-sale average is the truth, not what someone tells you.
Cash and card both
Most vendors accept card now, but smaller traders are still cash-only. Bring £100–200 in cash for spontaneous deals.
Inspect condition carefully
Bring a loupe or flashlight. Check edges, surface, centering. Ask to handle slabs in plastic before agreeing.
Agree the deal clearly
Repeat the trade out loud before exchanging. Confirm cash add-ons, card conditions, and grade tier. No assumptions.
Arrive early for the best deals
The first 30 minutes is when chase cards leave the floor. Doors at 10:00 means be queuing at 09:30.
